no makeup... Ha!

I don't depend on makeup anymore. Around the house...nothing. When I go out, I'll put some foundation and lipstick or gloss. Today I just went out of the house with no makeup and my hair got all messy from the wind. Yeah, it was a look. I just don't care anymore. Ten years ago, I would have never thought about stepping out of my room without my hair and makeup done. Now, I just don't care anymore. I really don't.


It's such a freedom not to worry about having to put makeup on.




*Of course, I look better with makeup. But, it's so much better not being dependent on it anymore.

Shopping today... :P

Today I went shopping. Didn't really find any good deals. Guess the after Christmas shoppers got everything good. I did find a gift tea set. It has 5 different teas. A regular box of tea is about 3 dollars. So...5 bucks for 5 tea tins isn't a bad deal. It would have been better if I got it cheaper. I like saving money. :P Really the good deals won't happen until after Valentine's Day.

Oh, one of my favorite things are those goldfish crackers from Pepperidge farm. But, I found something new from Annie's homegrown products.... it's bunnies crackers. It has a different taste, because it's 80% organic with no additives or preservatives. Think I might start getting them over the goldfish crackers.

Don't think that I'm a health nut.... I also got pringles dill pickle flavor chips. It doesn't taste as strong as last year.

Blue Moon

The second full moon in a single month is commonly known as a 'blue moon,' and that's what we'll see on New Year's Eve.

Another thing to think about is what a difference a day makes. Today 12/31/09 and tomorrow will be 01/01/10.

Hope 2010 will be better than 2009. :)

Now I have to see the 1975 or 1976 movie of those ladies. The head wraps of Edie Beale was fab.

Poor Raccoon

This morning I woke up to a sad sight. There was a young raccoon in the back yard that look hurt. After watching it for a bit, I realized that the young raccoon had something more serious than an injure back leg. I called several animal control places to have someone come over to remove it from the back yard. The raccoon looked like it had distemper. Around 2:30pm animal control finally came to remove the raccoon. It was so sad to watch the poor thing so sick. It would try to walk, but would either fall down or walk in a circle. From 9am to 2:30pm, the raccoon barely moved from the spot where I found it. It was so hard to see a sick animal out in this cold weather, then in the afternoon it started to rain.


I couldn't eat or do anything until animal control came. It was so sad to see a sick wild animal and not be able to get fast help for it. Thankfully they didn't shoot it before taking it. Some people on the internet said their local area did that. At least the raccoon isn't suffering anymore. :(


I found a video on YT that shows what a raccoon with distemper behaves like. The one in my back yard seem more sicker. :(

Continetal Knitting....

I taught myself how to knit in 2005. For me the throw method works better than Continental knitting. Now that I have been knitting for a few years...maybe it's time to learn Continental.
